IT Support Analyst
Houston (USA)


RPS has a requirement for an IT Analyst to join its Technology Services Team based in Houston, Texas. This as an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to utilise their IT knowledge, apply technical skills, Install, manage and advance the company IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will join the Technology Services team with responsibilities for the following throughout RPS North America:

• Support the business IT requirements (IT Support for hardware and software applications)
• Support & maintenance of IT Systems, including monitoring and backups
• Support Software Development Initiatives
• Research and provide technology solutions for the business
• Implementation and migrations of IT systems in new acquisitions
• Security and Business Continuity

North American systems are cohesive with IT systems and processes practiced in RPS Group world-wide. Technology Services North America is segmented into 4 key areas, IT Support, IT Operations, Regional IT Managers, Software Development.

This role requires technical expertise with enthusiasm to work within various system environments supporting the North American business. RPS North America provide consultancy services across many sectors, each with different technology requirements.

IT Support Analyst is responsible for providing day to day technical support to end users. The scope of the job includes but, not limited to, technical support of desktop and laptop computers, printers, scanners, mobile devices, tablets and, desktop applications. IT Support Analyst is required to travel to remote offices as needed and, must be available for occasional weekend and non-business hours. Must have reliable transportation and must be able to lift and move computer equipment.

• 1- 3 years experience
• Understanding of a Microsoft network infrastructure (Active Directory), Microsoft Applications (Windows 10, 7, Microsoft Office Suite,)
• Excellent analytical, support and problem solving skills
• Highly motivated with the ability to organize, motivate and influence team members
• Good communication skills, in person and over the phone
• Personal responsibility and accountability
• Strong time management skills
• Be willing to work occasional extended hours
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel, sometimes on short notice
• Desktop support certification (Microsoft, A+, etc.) preferred.
• Possess an excellent understanding of operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10) and applications (Autodesk and Micro Station preferred), networks and moderate to high level software and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Office 365 experience

• IT related Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
